SCHEDULING AND REFUND POLICY

NO REFUNDS, ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

In an attempt to limit no shows, Ohio Food Safety Education Services is requiring a deposit or payment in full before your seat and/or appointment is reserved or confirmed. If paying a deposit, the remaining balance will be due the day of class/appointment.


CORPORATE ACCOUNTS ONLY -- Invoices are due 30 days upon receipt. Invoices over 30 days will incur a $35.00 late fee.


All classes start at 9:00 a.m at the location specified in the item description above. Ohio Food Safety Education Services requires a 48 hour notification if you will not be attending a class and a 24 hour notification if you will not be attending an exam. If there is no notification or you do not show up for a class or appointment, there is a $50.00 fee to reschedule. 


If you feel you need an accommodation due to a disability, foreign language interpreter, or if you need more time than the allotted 2 hours to take the exam, you must let us know at least 10 days before the exam so we can secure that accommodation through the National Restaurant Association. Failure to do so will result in your accommodation not being granted! 


The passing score on the exam is 75%. Ohio Food Safety Education Services makes no guarantees on you passing the exam however, if you fail the exam the first time, we will allow you to repeat the course one (1) time, using your own book, and paying a retest fee of $50.00.


Ohio Food Safety Education Services reserves the right to cancel a class  or appointment due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. Cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced through WCMH, WSYX, WBNS, WTTE in Columbus, and WDTN in the Logan county area, through email and/or text.


Should Ohio Food Safety Education Services cancel a class, registrants will be offered registration in a future class at no additional cost.


It is a requirement of Ohio Food Safety Education Services that Electronic devices be put on vibrate and their uses limited to break times during class. 


ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES WILL BE PERMITTED DURING THE EXAMINATION SESSION! Use of these devices during the Examination session will be considered as cheating. Any cheating during the examination is grounds for dismissal without refund and refusal of future testing as per National Restaurant Association Policies.


A VALID ID OR DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THE CERTIFICATION EXAM, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE EXAM WITHOUT IT!!
